If you didn’t get a chance to try SewGlow, the world’s first industrial glow-in-the-dark sewing thread, when we gave cones away in June, here’s another chance!
Superior Threads, the company that makes SewGlow, is headed to SEMA 2015 and needs your help to make sewing samples to display at their booth.
Jon Cole, vice president of Superior Threads, asked us to put out a call to The Hog Ring community for talented upholsterers to help them out.
They’ll send you free cones of their popular green or blue illuminating thread in exchange for your help in sewing pleat samples for them to show off to SEMA attendees.
While you’re at it, make a sample or two to keep in your shop as well. That way customers can see how SewGlow works and request it on their next project.
To participate, simply email industrial@superiorthreads.com and say that you’re interested in helping out. Be sure to include links to your website, Facebook or Instagram so they can browse photos of your best work.
If they choose you, they’ll put the cones of thread in the mail! How cool is that?
For more information on SewGlew, read our review of the thread and check out Superior Threads‘ website.
