Trimmer Vohn Curtis Barnes, also known as “Booger,” has died at age 81.
Vohn was born on May 7, 1939 and grew up in Coweta, Oklahoma. After finishing his education at Carver High School in Tulsa, he worked on the family farm and later joined the Army.
After his military service ended, Vohn landed a job at Rayco, where he learned auto upholstery. He went on to work for Howard Top & Body Automotive, where he upholstered car interiors for 35 years.
Vohn was a family man, who loved classic cars, fishing and collecting knives. “He enjoyed life to the fullest. If you knew him, you met a true friend,” his obituary says.
He is survived by his wife Beverly June “Meme” Barnes, two sons Keith “Cletus” Barnes and Corey Morrison, daughter Shawna Durant, 30 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Vohn died on August 10, 2020. May he Rest In Peace.
