A fleet vehicle repair, restoration and management company is opening a massive service complex in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and bringing auto upholstery jobs with it.
Automotive Industries repairs vehicles for fleet services and car dealers. They handle all aspects of vehicle repair, including mechanics, paint, body, and interior. They’re currently based in Tulsa, but just purchased a 106,000-square-foot facility in Broken Arrow, according to Tulsa World.
The plan is to relocate their headquarters and hire 100 people to carry out vehicle repairs.
“We are excited about our move and expansion,” CEO Kyle Al-Rifai said in a statement.
“The building was perfect for our company, and the community of Broken Arrow from the Chamber and EDC (Economic Development Corp.) to city and elected officials have welcomed us by providing resources we need. With the expansion comes new contracts and expanded fleet management.”
Al-Rifai added: “This will be a one-of-a-kind facility in Oklahoma, and we plan to ensure that headquarters stays in Broken Arrow.”
Automotive Industries’s primary customers are franchise dealers and fleet companies. The company provides all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance so that their clients don’t have to send vehicles to multiple shops, saving time and money.
Al-Rifai said the new service complex will be operational by the second quarter of 2022.
Automotive Industries will need automotive professionals trained in all aspects of vehicle repair, and hiring will begin immediately in January.
