Leather Naturally is accepting nominations for a new member of its voluntary Management Board.
The industry association, which acts as a global voice for the leather industry, is seeking a passionate leather professional who believes in the mission of the group and its related initiatives. Members of the LN Management Board are able to interact with the organization’s wide network of contacts and engage with leather industry leaders.
The incoming board member will replace Debbie Burton, who served two consecutive terms over the past six years with Leather Naturally. Burton previously led the Communications Team and is now Chair of the Management Board.
“I am so incredibly proud to have been part of this team for the past seven years. The work we have done and the difference we have been able to make is all down to a group of passionate volunteers,” Burton said in a statement.
The Management Board comprises four teams: Communication, Impact, Education and Promotion. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to either join a team or serve as a general member depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in the leather industry and the ability to dedicate a few hours per month to the association’s work. Terms last for 3 years.
