Need another reason to get excited about the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro‘s throwback convertible top? How about this: It will be manufactured using topping fabric by Haartz Corporation!
That’s right, the jaw-dropping soft top will be made from Haartz Twillfast RPC technology. The three-ply topping features acrylic twill weave facing, rubber inner-layer and polyester dobby backing. It’s also available in three color options — black, Kalahari beige and nightshadow blue.
Of course, Camaro heads know that every convertible model since its debut in 1967 has featured Haartz topping.
“Continuing our partnership with Chevrolet as the soft top supplier for the Camaro for close to 50 years is an incredible accomplishment,” said Matt Williams, director of business development for Haartz. “Our technology has evolved along with the vehicle and we are honored they continue to welcome our products.”
The all-new Camaro is slated to hit dealer lots this fall. For more information on Haartz Corporation, visit Haartz.com.
