Bentley Motors is renowned for its luxurious cabins, which are often upholstered in supple leather and adorned in exotic wood. In a previous episode of “Inside Bentley,” Drive TV paid a visit to the British automaker’s impressive leather workshop. In this episode, they visit it’s wood shop to see how veneer trim is made.
At its facility in Crewe, England, Bentley‘s craftsmen hand carve wood trim for every model from the Mulsanne to Bentayga. In doing so, they use a combination of modern technology and old-world techniques.
Describing the wood shop, Drive TV says: “Within a factory that has seen vast improvements over the years, this is one area which looks, feels and smells very much like it did 30 years ago.”
