Bugatti says it designed a cup holder for a client after she spilled a drink all over her Chiron’s door panel. Apparently, the $3 million super car doesn’t already have one.
Frank Heyl, the automaker’s lead designer, recently shared a video on Instagram showing off the new cupholder, which is designed to fit in the door panel’s pocket. It features two sizes to fit cups, cans or water bottles. It’s even personalized with the client’s name.

Of course, the whole back and forth between Bugatti and the client is a bit of a PR stunt designed to highlight the automaker’s customization program, which is apparently quite impressive.
But I still can’t get over the fact that a multi-million dollar car doesn’t come equipped with a single cup holder. Weird.
