Trimmer Edgar Warren Patton of Narvon, Pennsylvania, has died at age 88.
Edgar was born in Narvon, where he lived a full life. He served with the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania from 1955 to 1962, and was owner and operator of Pattons Auto Upholstery. He ran that business for 70 years.
“He was a member of the New Holland Church of the Nazarene. He greatly enjoyed going on Mission trips and volunteer trips. His favorite trips were to African Nazarene University in Kenya where he was able to do projects in his area of expertise…upholstery,” his obituary says.
Sadly, Edgar died on January 21, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Lillian E. Stoltzfus Patton; four children, Warren Scott Patton, Christine E. Patton, Tina Nafziger and Edgar Warren Patton III; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Yoder, Janet Abel and Susan Swazey.
