MasterTech Expo 2025 has officially crossed the finish line, and if this year’s turnout is any indication, the industry is more charged up than ever.
The event was held on March 20-23 at the Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, Arizona. It grew by more than 20% over last year, drawing record-breaking attendance and a packed floor of top-tier manufacturers. From high-level trainings to adrenaline-pumping competitions, the energy was undeniable.
“The 2025 MasterTech Expo experienced remarkable growth in all facets of the event,” said Bryan Schmitt, founder of the expo and CEO of Mobile Solutions. “What sets us apart is that we don’t just lecture…we engage, listen and deliver high-value trainings tailored to what attendees truly want. We’re also incredibly proud that several companies chose MasterTech as the platform to launch not just new products, but entire brands. That speaks volumes about our standing in the industry.”
And the numbers back it up. The expo sprawled across an entire city block, with attendees filling six hotels. Over four days, professionals took in 14 hours of structured training across 14 specialized tracks, featuring 52 top-tier instructors and six hours of expert-led sessions from over 40 manufacturers.
Industry veterans and newcomers alike soaked up knowledge, networked and got hands-on with the latest innovations. Plus, attendees and manufacturers were treated to complimentary on-site meals, keeping everyone fueled for the action-packed days.
Of course, no MasterTech Expo would be complete without a little friendly competition. More than 20 skilled competitors put their expertise to the test in the legendary Build-Off and Clean Wire live competitions, showcasing the craftsmanship and precision that define this industry.
This year’s top honors went to some of the best in the business:
- Wayne Harris: 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award
- Dave Hoag – JVC Kenwood: Legacy of Leadership Tribute
- T.J. Carlson: 2025 Master Fabricator Award
- Eduardo Moure: 2025 Master Clean Wire Award
- David Koz: 2025 Best of Light Award
- Tyler Hoover: 2025 Future MasterTech Award
- Clean Wire Winner: Ben Freeman

The manufacturers also brought their A-game, with standout performances in key categories:

With this year’s success, the buzz is already building for MasterTech Expo 2026. “We already have manufacturers and attendees asking for next year’s dates,” Schmitt said. “We can’t wait to hear how attendees apply what they learned and take their work to the next level.”
