Trimmer Nate J. Oettinger of Arvada, Colorado, has died at age 65.
Nate was born on July 13, 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated from Pulaski High School. He briefly worked for a printing company before being laid off and moving to Colorado, where he met the love of his life, Brenda Reeh.
His longtime love of cars led him to the craft of auto upholstery, where he established a successful career. In 1991, he began working for Auto Weave Upholstery. He became a partner in the business 5 years later. “He was able to make other people’s dreams come true with the perfection he demanded in everything he touched. His attention to detail and pride in his work were always of utmost importance to him,” his obituary says.
After 43 wonderful years together, Nate and Brenda married on June 13, 2024. Sadly, he died on December 23 of that same year.
Nate is survived by his wife Brenda; parents Tom and Betty Oettinger; sister Jennie Danning; nephew Andrew Danning; nieces Alex, Robbie and Shelby; grand nephews Aiden and Bentley, great-nephew Conor; and many relatives and friends.
