Trimmer Luis Morquecho of San Antonio, Texas, has died at age 77.
Luis Morquecho was born on July 3,1947. From a very young age, he displayed a strong work ethic and helped earn an income for his family.
Ultimately, his passion for vintage cars and hot rods led him to a career in auto upholstery. He worked in the craft for 40 years before retiring in 2014.
After retirement, he spent several years as the loving caregiver to his wife Julie Morquecho. In fact, he was revered as a “kind-hearted and spirited man,” his obituary says.
Sadly, Luis died on April 22, 2025. He is survived by his son, Jon Nicholas Sosa; daughters, Patricia Montalvo and Melissa Perez; siblings, Jesse Morquecho and Socorro Morquecho; 8 grandchildren, Joe Montalvo Jr., Jennifer Montalvo, Adam Galindo, Claudia Montalvo, Timothy Montalvo, Alex Galindo, Motley Aldape-Guzman, and True Aldape-Sosa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
