Trimmer Thomas J. “Tom” Aikens of Arnold, Pennsylvania, has died at age 88.
Tom was born on March 11, 1937 in Lower Burrell. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the USS Hornet CV12, achieving the rank of AB3. He also owned and operated Tom’s Auto Upholstery in Arnold.
Tom was an active member of the Allegheny Valley Church of God in New Kensington, his obituary says.
Sadly, Tom died in his home on February 20, 2026. He is survived by his children, Cheryl Miller, Bob Johnson, Lori Brown, and Janice Ambriz; sister, Betty French; brother, David Aikens; grandchildren, Kaylee Rose Eyth, Jacob Thomas Roebuck, Lisa Welch, Charles Phillip Jr., Cruz, and Danny Ambriz; and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
