Trimmer David Carlin Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, has died at age 85.
David was born on April 22, 1941. After finishing school, he became a life-long auto upholsterer.
“He did not retire, but operated his automobile upholstery business to the very end of his life,” his obituary says. “He was appreciated by his customers for the quality of his work and his reliability.”
In David’s off time, he enjoyed playing the harmonica, country dancing, and spending time with his family.
Sadly, David died on May 28, 2026. He is survived by his sister, Charlene Smith Williams; brother, Troy Smith; nine nephews; and twelve nieces.
“We take comfort in knowing he lived a good and honorable life, and has gone to be with the Lord and his departed loved ones,” his obituary says.
